From the diminutive F25 to the powerhouse F90, Yamaha’s midrange motors offer the perfect horsepower in 2-, 3- and 4-cylinder versions for everything from deep-V aluminum boats to small pontoon boats and center console skiffs.

Each member of Yamaha’s midrange family is unique, giving boaters a wide array of reliable power to choose from, no matter what the application.

This 16-valve SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) midrange four-stroke also boasts the greatest power-to-weight ratio in its class making it ideal for  micro skiff installations.. In addition, the F70 is Command Link® and YCOP® compatible.

F50/F60

These SOHC midranges feature Precision Multi-Point Fuel injection, with quick starts, superior performance and maximum efficiency. You won’t find a better addition to your bass or aluminum fishing boat thanks to their multi-function tiller handle.

F40

This versatile four stroke blends power and fuel efficiency with quiet performance and quick starts making it perfect for small skiffs, jonboats, inflatables and smaller pontoon boats.

F30

Boasting impressive power and superb four-stroke performance, the F30 tips the scales at 214 pounds and is perfect for aluminum fishing boats and inflatables.

F25

This midrange workhorse offers responsive power and solid fuel efficiency in a compact package as well as smart engineering conveniences like the new Nitro Assist Tilt allowing for effortless tilt on both electric and manual start tiller models. It also employs Yamaha’s PrimeStart™ system for reliable, turnkey starts in extreme hot or cold conditions. Available with a 20-inch shaft (standard on all Yamaha midranges), or a 15-inch shaft for skinnier water, it’s great for jonboats, inflatables and micro skiffs.

Like all Yamaha outboards, members of the midrange family are covered by Yamaha’s industry-leading warranty program, offering three years of limited warranty coverage for recreational and Government users and one year for commercial applications.
