What is your company doing to help you grow as a person? How much time do they devote to helping you grow as an individual? They have probably invested a few months to train you to perform the tasks you were hired to do. That takes time and money on the company’s part. So you would think they would protect their investment. Sadly, though, that is not how it always works. Too many times, others report that they feel like their company believes in the “burn and turn them” theory. Get everything out of them and when they have nothing left to give, either put them in a go nowhere tract or cut them loose. After all, there are lots of others waiting the wings for that “position.”
