Sharon Booma Exhibit at Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach
Nationally-recognized artist Sharon Booma’s “Collections of Impulses” exhibit is a vigorous pursuit of a balance between the states of chaos and order that alternate and overlap in our lives. Her exhibit will be on display through May 27. Admission is free. Moonlit Beachwalk
Explore the beach by moonlight and learn about the wildlife and animals that utilize the beach after nightfall when the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department and Environmental Division present a Moonlight Beach Walk on St. Augustine Beach. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight (red film will be provided for use with flashlights so the light will not disturb nesting sea turtles). The walk, which is free, begins at 8 p.m. at the St. Johns County Ocean Pier.  350 A1A Beach Blvd., St. Augustine Beach. 904-209-0335

The St. Augustine Art Association combines four exciting themes into one juried exhibit. Cutting Edge is defined as work that pushes the boundaries of ideas and/or materials. Buckethead Performs at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall
Buckethead is a virtuoso guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who encompasses several genres of music. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, rock, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass and avant-garde music. When performing in his theatrical persona, Buckethead used to wear a KFC bucket on his head, emblazoned with an orange bumper sticker that reads “FUNERAL” in capital black block letters, and an expressionless plain white costume mask. More recently, he has switched to a plain white bucket no longer bearing the KFC logo. He also incorporates nun chucks, robot dancing and toy trading into his stage performances. Music by the Sea Concert
Free weekly concert at the St. Johns County Pier features a wide variety of musical genres. The seaside concerts are 7 – 9 p.m. This week’s featured performer is the Duffy Bishop Blues Band. Starting at 6 p.m., Terra & Acqua Restaurant will offer dinners as an option for concert goers. All dinners are priced at $10 or less. Concert goers are encouraged to car pool or ride the shuttle from the St. Augustine Beach City Hall. Here Come the Mummies at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Here Come the Mummies, an eight-piece funk rock group featuring 5,000-year-old Egyptian mummies, performs at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Sisters of St. Joseph’s Art Exhibition at St. Augustine Art Association Gallery

An exhibition of original works of art produced by the Sisters of St. Joseph. The exhibit honors the 150th Anniversary of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The pieces were created over decades and include paintings, icons, pottery, hand painted porcelain, lace, basketry, tapestries and more. Follow the Sun Music Festival Kicks Off at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre
Follow the Sun is a three-day music festival traveling from coast to coast in Florida and featuring some of the region’s most talented musicians with bands from far and wide as well. This year’s lineup for the St. Augustine date includes Supersuckers, Drag The River, Outer Spaces, Sinners and Saints and Ann Pragg. This year’s festival features a variety of performers. The Friday event will take place at the backyard stage at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve            
Join GTM Research Reserve docents from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. to learn how to pull a seine net collecting species of fish, crabs and more. Learn about the animals and their roles in the habitat. Free Historic Walking Tour
Explore 400 years of St. Augustine’s history on this free, 1.5-hour tour.
