Ant-Man and The Wasp at IMAX Theater at World Golf Hall of Fame
As Scott Lang balances being both a super hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past. Flagler 50: Celebrating a College and a Preservation Legacy, 1968-2018 Exhibition
This exhibition will open as part of the upcoming repertoire of 50th anniversary celebrations at Flagler College. The exhibition features historic photos and morsels of information about the humble beginnings of the college through today. The exhibition can be accessed in many ways, including via Flagler’s Legacy Tours, through the Florida Stories phone app available for free download, or a newly created 24-page self-guided tour booklet about the historic campus. The booklet is available to pick up in the Rotunda of Ponce de Leon Hall, where the Legacy Tours begin. This special exhibit will be available through May 2019. The cost for the Legacy Tours is $12 for adults and free for youth under age 10 with a paid adult. In the Mood Harry McCormick Art Exhibition
World-renowned artist Harry McCormick will display his artwork through September 20 at the St. Johns County Administration Building’s Rotunda.  McCormick is noted for his realistic paintings with a focus on light and shadow, and he has been called a painter of “interiors” and “genre”‘ – such as ordinary people doing ordinary things like a series of people looking at paintings in museums and galleries. Night Market at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre
The Night Market, which takes place the fourth Tuesday of each month, is adding a second night in the summer on the second Tuesday of each month. The market takes place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre from 6-9 p.m. and meets the demand for locally made goods and gifts. The Night Market hosts up to 90 vendors specializing in handmade crafts and goods. The Night Market also features live entertainment and activities. Historical Look into the Old Spanish Quarries
Anastasia State Park will host a Historical Look into the Old Spanish Quarries program from 10-11 a.m.  This informative program with a fun and knowledgeable ranger will bring the history of the quarry to life as you learn about the amazing work that occurred in the Old Spanish Quarries and the architecture that influenced the history of St. Augustine. After checking in at the ranger station, meet for the program in the quarry parking area by the front entrance gate. Free Speaker Series: 500 Years of Maritime Florida
The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum hosts this free speaker series. The speaker is Sarah Miller, whose talk is titled Heritage Monitoring Scouts and Florida Cultural Heritage at Risk. Music by the Sea Concert
Bring a beach chair or blanket along with a favorite beverage and get ready to dance. Starting at 6 p.m., dinner is offered as an option for concert goers and the concert takes place from 7-9 p.m. All dinners are priced at $10 or less. This week’s performance is by Grapes of Roth, and the food is provided by Mango Mango’s. Summer Movie Series
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and the Colonial Oak Music Park have teamed up again to provide the free Summer Movie Series at the Colonial Oak Music Park. This week’s movie, which begins at 8:30 p.m., is The Lion King. The Red Train will offer complimentary shuttles from Ripley’s to St. George St. starting at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a pick up on the north end of St. George St. following the film to return to Ripley’s. Let’s Talk Turtle
Join in discovering the wonderful sea turtles of Anastasia State Park. Learn about identifying turtle nests, hatching and the great journey sea turtles begin after leaving the beach and the dangers they encounter in the ocean. Concert in The Plaza
Returning for its 28th season in 2018, this popular weekly event falls into a tradition shared by many communities: enjoying a concert in the town square on a summer night. Free and open to the public, residents and visitors alike can enjoy great entertainment in a great place together every Thursday between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 7-9 p.m. Often called “the best way to spend a Thursday night in St. Augustine,” Concerts in the Plaza is produced by the City of St. Augustine’s Public Affairs Department and offers the best in local and regional musical performers. Bridge of Lions 5K Run
The annual run across St. Augustine’s Bridge of Lions starts at 7:30 a.m. at the historic Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, 1 S. Castillo Dr., in downtown St. Augustine. The race route takes runners and walkers over the Bridge of Lions and through the Davis Shores neighborhood. Dolphin Paddle on Salt Run
Join Anastasia Watersports and Marineland Dolphin Adventure for a fun-filled interpretive paddle of Salt Run at Anastasia State Park from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Anastasia Watersports staff will provide paddling instruction and equipment along with details about the ecosystem and the myriad wildlife that inhabit it. Terran McGuiness, a dolphin expert from Marineland, will fill guests in on fascinating facts about the dolphins that are born, breed and thrive in our waterway. The event will start with 30 minutes of classroom discussion followed by 90 minutes of paddling. Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve
Hosted by the GTM Research Reserve, you’re invited to join docents from 9-11 a.m. to learn how to pull a seine net. Participants will collect fish and crabs as well as learn about their habitats and role in the environment. Waders and boots provided. The program takes place in the Environmental Education Center. Our Feathered Friends Hike and Marsh Walk
Fort Mose Historic State Park will host an educational Guided Bird Walk program from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Join birding expert Susan Killeen on a hike and birding exploration of our salt marsh and the Secondary Fort Site Island (established 1752). Bring your rubber boots, binoculars, cameras, water and any other pertinent items to will make your travel through the estuary more enjoyable.
