Dressing Downton: Changing Fashions for Changing Times Exhibition – The Final Week!

Immerse yourself in fashion and history in this acclaimed exhibition at the Lightner Museum. Dressing Downton™, a display of 36 authentic Victorian Era costumes and accessories from PBS’s most popular television drama in history, Downton Abbey®, is elegantly displayed in the museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery. The museum is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for college students and seniors, $10 for 12-17-year-olds, and free for youth under age 12. The ticket cost includes entry to the museum. There will be special Upstairs/Downstairs Tours and Afternoon Teas that take place daily during the exhibition. Star Wars: Episode VIII, The Last Jedi at IMAX Theater at World Golf Hall of Fame
Having taken her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga. Ponte Vedra Artisan Market
The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach introduces the Ponte Vedra Artisan Market, a pop-up shop exclusively dedicated to promote and sell wearable items designed and crafted by artists. The center’s curatorial committee will hand select wearable art that is original in concept, design and execution. Admission into the market is free and open to the public. First Wednesday – Curator’s Tour: Dressing Downton™ Exhibition
Lightner Museum Curator Barry Myers conducts monthly tours featuring unique and special treasures of the museum. The tours are the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. and offer guests an intimate encounter with a select few of the Lightner’s eclectic relics. January’s Curator’s Tour will offer a personalized tour of the Dressing Downton™ Exhibition before the exhibition ends in January. Throwback Thursday: Days of Heaven at the Corazon Cinema and Cafe
A hot-tempered farm laborer convinces the woman he loves to marry their rich but dying boss so that they can have a claim to his fortune. This film is showing at the Corazon Cinema and Cafe at noon. Bettye LaVette at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

First Friday Garden Walk
Visit Washington Oaks Gardens State Park on the first Friday of every month for a guided tour of the beautiful gardens. Meet in the garden parking lot at 10 a.m. and wear comfortable shoes. First Friday Art Walk
From 5-9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, the Art Galleries of St. Augustine features new exhibits, refreshments and live music at more than 20 galleries. The event is held rain or shine inside the member galleries and is a free, self-guided walking tour. Tour maps are available at participating galleries or on the website. 832-779-2781

Faces & Figures Exhibition
The St. Augustine Art Association presents this exhibition that showcases works of the human form. The works may include portraits, statues, busts and other forms. GTM Research Reserve Guided Exploration Hike 
The first Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. take a guided exploration hike that focuses on the Guana Peninsula’s 5,000 years of human history. This 1.5-mile guided walking tour departs from the Trailhead Pavilion located just west of the Guana Dam. The programs are free. Historic Militia Muster and Training at Fort Mose
Visit Fort Mose on the first Saturday each month from 9-11:30 a.m. to be transported back to the 18th century. Learn from the members of the Fort Mose Militia as they practice firing drills and demonstrate how to use historic weapons and show musket firing drills. There is also a children’s militia training that uses wooden toy muskets. The park is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission into the park is free. Drum Runner Series Barrel Racing at St. Johns County Fairgrounds
Saddle up and head over to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds for monthly barrel, pole and other timed speed horse events. The event is open to public and free for spectators. Tribute to Andy Williams on Stage at the Limelight Theatre
From a humble, Depression-Era beginning in small-town Iowa to the heights of worldwide acclaim, Andy Williams sang the songs of life, love and living the American experience. Flip for Fun 5K
This race benefits WGV Gymnastics and begins at the Golfway Center. The fun run begins at 2:30 p.m., and the 5K starts at 3:30 p.m. Registration ranges from $35-$12. A t-shirt, bag and finishers medal are provided to each participant. Villa Zorayda Candlelight Tour
Join Villa Zorayda this holiday season for its 8th annual Candlelight Tour. The museum is beautifully decorated for the holidays with a spectacular Christmas tree decorated in the colors of the Zorayda, red and gold. More than 100 candles are aglow throughout the museum. The tour is at 6 p.m. General admission is $16. Admission for youth ages 7-12 is $7, and admission is free for youth ages 4-6. The tour is not recommended for youth ages 3 and under. The St. Augustine Glory vs. Florida All-Stars
The St. Augustine Glory, an American Basketball Association professional team, has come to the oldest city in the United States to bring professional basketball, family fun and excitement to this region.
