St. Johns County Temporarily Closes Tillman Ridge Transfer Station Saturday for Repairs

 


St. Johns County, FL. – The Tillman Ridge Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Station, located at 3005 Allen Nease Road in Elkton, will be temporarily closed to all residential and commercial activity on Saturday, November 2, due to unexpected repairs. St. Johns County will reopen this station to the public on Monday, November 4.

In the interim, all municipal solid waste permitted by the St. Johns County Solid Waste Management Division at Tillman Ridge, such as St_Johns_County1tires and hazardous waste, can be properly disposed of at the Stratton Road Transfer Station, 250 N. Stratton Road. Construction and demolition debris or yard waste will not be accepted.

The Stratton Road Transfer Station is open to the public Monday through Friday (except legal holidays) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information please contact the St. Johns County Solid Waste Management Division at  or go to www.sjcfl.us/SolidWaste/media/TransferStations.pdf.
