St. Johns County Partners with NACo to Offer Residents Substantial Savings on Prescription Drug Costs

St. Johns County is pleased to participate in the National Association of Counties’ Prescription Discount Card Program to assist residentsSt_Johns_County in saving money on prescription medications not covered by insurance.

Program participation is open to all residents regardless of age, income, or existing health coverage. There are no enrollment forms and no restrictions or limits on frequency of card use. In addition, only one card is needed to save on discounts for an entire family. Cards can be printed online at www.nacorx.org, obtained at many County facilities, or picked up in store at more than 30 major pharmacies countywide.

Cardholders simply need to present their card at a participating retail pharmacy to receive a discount when purchasing a prescription not covered by insurance. To date, cardholders in St. Johns County have experienced average savings of 24% off eligible prescription coverage including savings on qualified pet prescriptions.
