
1 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1 t salt
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/3 c milk
1 egg
1 c finely chopped apple
dash cinnamon
- Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon together. Add milk and egg. Beat to a smooth batter. Fold in apple.
- Drop by spoonful into 2 1/2–3-inch hot oil at about 375. Fry 2–3 minutes, turning over.
- Drain on paper towels and gobble them up.
- Serves 4–6
