Mixing Business with Pleasure!

Having been everything from a bond trader on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade to starting a carpet cleaning business and just about everything in between, I am so excited to have found a business that just seems like FUN!

Paid to party?  Yes.  I always say to my team, “If you aren’t having fun, you are not doing it right!”

A quick story:  I have spent 30 years with my family in a very special place in northern Michigan with many other families (about 450 family cottages).  It is a unique place where all ages mix.  Children romp and play and attend a morning camp where the slightly older kids are their counselors and so much more; mentors and inspirers.  Parents of the young children hang out at the beach all afternoon watching their kids learn to swim, sail, and play tennis.  Moms of the older kids are there as well or playing tennis, taking a class or just doing one of the many other things available in this utopian place.

My now grown children have an entire village of “parents” who watched over them and are now just people they call “friend”.  All ages mix, an old value that we often lose in this day and age of moving as fast as we can.  Summer for my kids and me, even when they can only spend a week or two, now is a time for unplugging, unwinding, and connecting.

Last spring I joined a new company called Nerium International in their mission to launch their flagship product and anti-aging skin cream called Nerium AD.  I wondered how this one product would work in a community of so many ages and personalities.  With my heart in my hand we had our first REAL RESULTS party at the end of June.

Wow…the reception was amazing!  People of all ages wanted to try it and several people jumped to join me in the mission when they learned about this incredible company, clinically proven product (with more products to come), and the once in a lifetime timing!  And we all started our summer of parties!

The party was very simple: the signature drink was Blood Orange, vodka and a big section of lemon peel; yummy and a beautiful shade of pink!  We had some cheese and crackers and people came.  Very soon the buzz on the beach and the tennis courts was “What is that stuff and how can I get some?”  More parties.  More fun.  More customers and Brand Partners all excited about this new company.

One day the UPS man asked one of my friends what Nerium was as he was delivering it all over town!  These are REAL RESULTS that REAL people and they are getting fueled by the fire.  My 24 year old daughter who doesn’t have wrinkles but does have skin that is very oily in places and very dry in others found that it evens out her skin tone.  Other friends have wrinkles that are literally disappearing and sun damage and age spots lightening and then even going away.  One friend of mine, a 73 year young woman, had several people say she looked 10 years younger!  What a testimony!

So many people are living for Friday!  I say, why not mix business and pleasure?  Join us in our mission and let the fun begin!
