St. Johns County Offering Sand Bags to Address Potential Flooding

St. Johns County, Fla. – Due to heavy rains associated with Tropical Storm Isaac, the St. Johns
County Road and Bridge Department is providing sand bags to County residents. Sand and bags
will be provided to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday August 28 at three locations
throughout the county including:

• 536 South Holmes Blvd. St. Augustine

• Mills Field at 1805 Race Track Road, Saint Johns County

• The Palm Valley Bridge on CR210

Sand and bags are being provided to County residents at no cost. However, residents are asked to
supply their own shovels. For more information please call 904.814.2301.
