Popular rock band Wilco is coming to perform at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012.

Hailing from Chicago, the Grammy Award-winning, rock band Wilco will make their first appearance in the ancient city for one night only. Formed in the mid-’90s, the band is singer-songerwriter-guitarist Jeff Tweedy, bassist John Stirratt, guitarist Nels Cline, multi-instrumentalists Patrick Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen and drummer/percussionist Glenn Kotche. Wilco has released 10 studio albums to date including Mermaid Avenue Volumes 1 & 2, which set original music to song lyrics by the truest of American icons, songwriter Woody Guthrie.

Their latest release, the Grammy-nominated The Whole Love, was released Fall 2011 on their own dBpm Records. Follow Wilco at their website, on Facebook, and Twitter.
