OVER THE RHINE WITH LUCY WAINWRIGHT ROCHE
- The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall has announced a new show for the 2012 season, Over the Rhine with Lucy Wainwright Roche onThursday, April 12th, 2012.
Over the Rhine, named for the downtown Cincinnati neighborhood where the band got their start in the late eighties, is comprised of husband-and-wife singer-songwriters Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist. Their fan funded album, The Long Surrender, was released in early 2011 and Over the Rhine has shared the stage with iconic names such as Bob Dylan, John Prine, and Ani DiFranco, among others.
Lucy Wainwright Roche, the singing, songwriting daughter of Grammy Award winner Loudon Wainwright III and Suzzy Roche, has made a name for herself on the music scene following the release of her debut album, Lucy, in October of 2010. Wainwright Roche has been recognized by the Independent Music Awards, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and the Grassy Hill Kerrville Folk Festival for her unique contributions to folk music.
Tickets for this seated show will go on sale thisFriday, February 10th, 2012 at10AM. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and St. Augustine Amphitheatre box offices, findmytix.com, and all Ticketmaster outlets.
