Boynton Beach Woman’s Purse Snatched While She Was In Toilet

Filed under Opinion, Police and Fire

“Police in Florida said a woman reported her purse was stolen from the back of a restaurant toilet when another woman reached over from a neighboring stall.

The woman told Boynton Beach police she was using the restroom at Two Georges restaurant just prior to 8 p.m. Tuesday and a woman reached over from the next stall and grabbed her purse from the back of the toilet, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Wednesday.”

I avoid public restrooms like the plague, more often than not they are filthy and they stink to high heaven. Unfortunately, when you got to go, you got to go. Hold your nose, keep your wits about you, and get the hell out of there as soon as you`ve finished your business.

The victim was in a vulnerable position, it`s not like she could have chased the thief with her drawers down to her ankles. But this hapless lady has only herself to blame, she was nuts to carry $500 in cash in her purse. She should have clutched her purse with one hand, and wiped her bottom with the other.

The victim wasn`t too bright, but as is usually the case the bad guys are even more stupid. A man and a woman were seen fleeing the scene of the crime in bicycles, and the man was arrested with the purse in his possession. A dude carrying a purse will stick out like a sore thumb, the imbecile should have let the woman carry the purse.

There`s a lot of crazy stuff that goes on in Florida, but even this weird incident can`t compete with the Republican presidential hopefuls who have taken their traveling side show to the Sunshine State. If Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich went to the same restroom at the same time, they might engage in a real you know what type of contest.
