Copper theft costs taxpayers and businesses millions of dollar a year, brazen thieves steal copper from air conditioning units, school equipment and utility poles.
Copper thieves are rarely caught, and when they are nabbed by the cops they are usually slapped with a light sentence. But this hapless thief got his just desserts, and his downfall brings Christmas cheer to multitudes.
You can invite an atheist to church or read him the Bible, and he will remain steadfast in his belief that there`s no god. But if you show him this video of the thief writhing in pain, it might give him pause to consider that perhaps there is a god.
For those of you in the Miami area if you recognize this creep, call Crime Stoppers at 305 471-TIPS. The rest of you can relax and enjoy this video — my Christmas present to my readers.
Who says this cynical columnist never writes a story with a happy ending? Merry Christmas to all my readers!
