Women of TAPS to Spend a Night at the Museum!  Williams and Bruni Coming to

St. Augustine Friday the 13th!!

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Oct. 19, 2011)   –   The Ghost Hunters are on the case again!  Two female members of the hit SyFy Network TV show will be leading a Friday the 13th paranormal investigation through the Castle Warden, home of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in St. Augustine.  Kris Williams and Amy Bruni will arrive in the Nation’s Oldest City this coming January.

It will mark the third time TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) has investigated the historic 1880’s castle.  An October 2009 event was hosted by Dave Tango, Steve Gonzalves, and Dustin Pari.  One year later, Pari (from the Ghost Hunters International TV show) returned for a follow-up engagement.

This upcoming event will be a first for Williams and Bruni, who have been regulars on the now legendary SyFy series for several seasons. “I love St. Augustine,” says Williams, who has investigated the city’s infamous lighthouse in the past, “but I’ve never been in the Ripley’s castle, so this will be a special night for me and Amy.” Williams and Bruni will also make an upcoming appearance on the Ripley Radio worldwide oddcast (www.ripleyoddcast.com).

Castle Warden, a St. Augustine landmark built in the 1880s, has been home to the original Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Museum since 1950 and has also long been regarded as one of the most haunted properties in the Southeastern United States.  Numerous guests and employees have reported hearing voices and seeing apparitions inside the building over the years.

Some even claim to have smelled smoke from a 1940s fire that killed two women when the building served as the Hotel Castle Warden.

The investigation on Friday January 13, 2012 will not be televised, but limited tickets are available for the public to be part of the five-hour exploration inside the castle.  All ticketing is being handled by TAPS at www.idealeventmanage.com
