THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW
Back by popular demand, the Limelight Theatre’s original cast returns to present Richard O’Brien’s cult rock and roll horror-comedy. Audience participation is encouraged at this live performance, but please no props from home – prop packages will be made available prior to the show. The horror begins at 7:30 p.m. both nights. The show will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through July 10. This weekend is your last opportunity to see this great show! Tickets are $25 each. KINGFISH CHALLENGE
Chase the big ones in this exciting competition that offers cash and prizes for the biggest catch. Registration is limited to 400 boats. Friday is the Junior Kingfish Challenge, Tournament Registration and the Captain’s Meeting. Fishing days are Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a fish fry and awards on Sunday. It all begins at the St. Augustine City Marina located at 111 Avenida Menendez. A PAINTING IN A DAY
Join well-known artist Sydney McKenna as she guides participants through a step-by-step hands-on process on how to complete a landscape painting in a day. Sydney will use non-solvent oil paints provided by the Cultural Center. Participants of all skill levels will finish a painting at the end of the day. The cost is $145 — all supplies included. The course is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, 50 Executive Drive. For more information, call 904.280.0614.
Watch the sun go down and enjoy an incredible view of the night sky in one of the quietest estuaries in North Florida from the stable platform of a glowing “firefly” kayak. This tour is led by a certified interpreter from Ripple Effect Ecotours and will include an educational journey into our galaxy and beyond with folklore, mythology, and astronomy for beginners.
