What’s the Secret to a Successful Franchise? “Love What You Do!”

What’s the Secret to a Successful Franchise? “Love What You Do!”

Stephen Allison Speaks About the Incredible Company – MassageLuXe

As the weeks pass and we delve further into the amazing companies, MassageLuXe and FaceLuXe, more and more people are asking questions about this incredible career opportunity. From people who wish to find the ‘LuXe’ experience that’s closest to them to entrepreneurs who wish to begin their own franchise to others who are out there looking for a career they will love in a fantastic business that truly cares about their employees – the ‘LuXe’ name is being spoken about absolutely everywhere.

To catch you up, MassageLuXe was truly built on the fact that everyone on this planet should be afforded a ‘taste of the good life.’ Relaxation, as we all know, is the key to our well-being, health, not to mention our attitude, and no matter what size your pocketbook or billfold might be, MassageLuXe was created on the fact that everyone can enjoy this type of serenity. Because of this theory and a proven marketing concept – MassageLuXe and FaceLuXe have become the fastest growing luxury massage franchise in the country.

MassageLuXe has six hundred franchises in various stages of development right at this moment, and when they speak about the type of franchiser that best suits the ‘LuXe’ name, they always speak about those enthusiastic professionals that absolutely exude the positive attitude that MassageLuXe consistently shows. They want people to act as brand ambassadors for their organization, and the MassageLuXe franchisers we are speaking with today are all that and more.

Steve and Margo Allison are a couple who displayed that willingness to strive for the extraordinary and refuse to take ‘so-so’ when it came to their profession. And because of this, O’Fallon, Missouri is complete with more than one MassageLuXe franchise that is truly unique. Happy and educated employees, a professional atmosphere, and therapies that provide each and every one of us – old and young – with the relaxation that is truly missing in the world today…this company has it all.

Seeing as that we have been speaking about Todd Beckman (the creator and owner of the ‘LuXe’ brand), and all he has accomplished with his incredible companies, we are now going to turn the spotlight on franchise owners who are a part of Mr. Beckman’s team. The Allison’s franchise is one of nine MassageLuXe locations in St. Louis. The Allison’s are a true team, and their offerings of massages, facials, and other therapies are the ‘best of the best’ when it comes to taking that ‘moment in time’ for yourself to improve your overall health.

Steve Allison has been gracious enough to speak with us today to let ‘all’ out there know a little more about their franchise, as well as why they chose the ‘LuXe’ brand as one of the absolute best investments out there.

I would like to begin by asking what made you specifically go down the ‘path’ of opening a franchise instead of, say, a small business?

My family has been a part of Carpet One franchises for twenty-five years. And owning a franchise makes sense in this current economy, rather than attempting to open a “mom and pop shop” on your own. With a franchise, the marketing concepts, design, and ‘how to’s’ are already set in place and easy to follow, which makes becoming a franchiser the only real opportunity to open a new business with an already successful and profitable history.

What drew you specifically to Massage/FaceLuXe?

My wife worked for the Tan Company, which is MassageLuXe’s sister company, for six-and-a-half years.  We originally began to look at opening a Tan Company, but decided that we wanted to do something that adds to a healthy lifestyle, and where there would be no negativity. It is also extremely easy to operate. In addition, we saw the company was growing and expanding by leaps and bounds, and we very much wanted to get in at the ‘ground level.’ I mean, imagine if you started with McDonald’s when they’d first opened and how monumental your franchise would have become! We knew the outlook for the massage industry was huge as far as growth was concerned, and we wanted to own multiple units, so that’s when we became area developers with the rights to eleven locations to own/franchise.

How long has your particular franchise been open?

One-and-half years

What do you feel are the characteristics that make Face/MassageLuXe so unique from the rest of the spas/salons out there?

MassageLuXe is truly all about affordable luxury. This is the place you come to in order to get that ‘royal’ treatment. With same day appointments and walk-ins, all clients receive 5-star customer service in a clean, professional location.

One of the most amazing aspects of this particular company for our readers is how much the employees truly love their job. Are there certain benefits

for the employees that outweigh other companies?

Yes, another amazing gift when it comes to MassageLuXe is the fact that the employees truly take pride in what they do, and are proud of their educations. We offer competitive pay, state of the art equipment and supplies, excellent benefits…so they really just have to show up and do what they love – which is certainly something every worker would like to be granted. And even the setting is extremely relaxing for the employees, so it’s not only the clients who are getting the best ‘care’ anywhere.

It was an absolute priority for us that our employees had a comfortable, state-of-the-art breakroom, which even includes a bed they can take naps on and relax, cable television, and a full kitchen. We currently employ over thirty therapists, and not only are they the most experienced and professional team in the massage business, but they prove every day that being happy and doing what you love does show in your work. This positive attitude helps to make us very successful.

What is the Allison’s ‘concept’ of how to manage and be a successful franchise of MassageLuXe?

We are very hands-on owners, which we feel is a necessity in order to ensure excellent customer service.  We have also owned several successful businesses that have given us the tools and knowledge to make this franchise a success for us and our employees. So being able to have that background and join with a company that’s expanding so much every single day is really amazing.

_____

See that, everyone? In essence, these MassageLuXe franchise owners follow the very simplistic plan of loving their work. Yes, this is a concept that may elude many of us out there, but when you walk through the doors of MassageLuXe, you automatically get that feeling of peace. This is a place to improve your health, while at the same time receiving the ‘special’ treatment you deserve.

Very soon MassageLuXe and FaceLuXe franchises will be in YOUR backyard, and with the array of help and support the corporate office gives to their franchisers – it could be YOU who opens that franchise. Think about it; you will find your ‘perfect’ career niche and finally begin doing what you love to do!

Until Next Time, Everybody.

Amy

We Are Still…All in This Together!

We Are Still…All in This Together! by Amy Lignor   December 7, 1941. Sunday morning was lovely on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
