On November 6-12, biking enthusiasts will have an exceptional opportunity to pedal through history and experience some of Florida’s most beautiful vistas when Bike Florida presents a special seven-day/six-night luxury tour along the River-to–Sea Loop Trail. Beginning and ending in St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, the 260-mile adventure includes a ferry crossing, travel by houseboat down the St. Johns River; visits to country museums that showcase pioneer life; swimming in Florida’s famous springs; beach walks and visits to historic districts.
Limited to 25 participants, the tour travels to small towns as well as natural and historic landmarks located along mostly scenic country roads. The beautiful East Coast Greenway is included in the route. The tour is fully supported and coordinated with local law enforcements agencies. For added safety, the route is marked with signage alerting motorists to SHARE THE ROAD.
The tour includes all meals except lunches, support vehicle, guides, maps, cue sheets, and on-road snacks and admissions. Participants have a choice of double accommodations ($1,795 per person) or single accommodations ($2,095 per person).
