Walk Green 2018 in Jacksonville, April 28

Date:  April 28, 2018

Time: 11:00 am

BAPS Charities Walk Green 2018 is an event to raise funds for The Nature Conservancy (http://nature.org) and other charitable activities organized by BAPS Charities. This year, BAPS Charities will support The Nature Conservancy’s efforts to plant and restore over 1.6 million acres of land by planting one billion trees by 2025 through their Plant a Billion Trees ( https://www.plantabillion.org/partners/) initiative. Join over 23,000 walkers in over 70 cities in North America and help us support the planting of 130,000 trees in 2018.

Our local beneficiary for this event is the PACE center for girls (https://www.pacecenter.org/locations/jacksonville).

This years local event will be held at the Tamaya Community green field (https://tamayafl.com). You can enter through one of the two access points to the Tamaya Community via Kernan Blvd or Beach Blvd. Both entrances will guide you to the main gate where signage will direct you to parking, restrooms, and the meeting area for the walk.

Please note that throughout the Eventbrite software the word FREE may be visible. This is a software limitation because we are trying to avoid paying any processing fees. This saves the organisers money and ensures the majority of your proceeds go to support the respective charities.
