TWO NEW SHOWS AT PONTE VEDRA CONCERT HALL:

GEORGE THOROGOOD & THE DESTROYERS

and

THE WOOD BROTHERS

For Release Tuesday, September 20, 2011—George Thorogood & The Destroyers will perform at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Monday, November 28th, 2011. Best known for his hit “Bad to the Bone,” Thorogood is a blues-rock guitarist from Wilmington, Delaware. George Thorogood and the Destroyers have sold fifteen million albums worldwide, including sixteen studio albums total, two of which have been certified platinum, and six gold. Doors for the show will open at 7:00pm, and the show will begin at 8:00pm. This is a standing room only show.

Also added to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall lineup, The Wood Brothers will be performing on Saturday, December 10th. Brothers Chris and Oliver Wood make up the band, whose harmonies blend to produce blues, folk and roots music. They are touring in support of their August 2011 album Smoke Ring Halo, which was released on Zac Brown’s independent record label, Southern Ground Artists. Doors for the show will open at 6:00pm, and the show will begin at 7:00pm. This will be a split layout show, with both seated tickets and general admission standing tickets available.

Tickets for The Wood Brothers will go on sale Friday, September 23rd, while tickets for George Thorogood & The Destroyers will be available beginning Saturday, September 24th at 10AM. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and St. Augustine Amphitheatre box offices, ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
