Two New Shows Added to Ponte Vedra Concert Hall 2013 Lineup

Two events have been added to the 2013 lineup for the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall: guitarist Jesse Cook on February 27th, and dueling pianos featuring David Benoit & Brian Culbertson on April 19th.

Award winning Torontobased guitarist Jesse Cook mixes funky jazz, Latin and world music into his live performances. Cook’s successes include the release of seven studio albums internationally over seventeen years. He is a three-time winner of the Canadian Smooth Jazz Award for “Guitarist of the Year”, while also being a JUNO Award-winning performer. Jesse has sold over one million albums worldwide, making him truly a global artist. His success has continued with his latest release The Rumba Foundation, which focuses on the Rumba’s Cuban flamenco roots.

Contemporary jazz pianist Brian Culbertson returns to the First Coast with David Benoit to create an electrifying event of two different styles on one stage. David Benoit has released over 25 solo records and received 5 GRAMMY nominations along the way. The 1989 release of Waiting for Spring rocketed to number one on Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums chart. Brian Culbertson has composed thirteen albums throughout his career, such as Long Night Out, Somethin About Love and the critically acclaimed Nice & Slow in 2001. Culbertson’s 2005 release of It’s On Tonight debuted on Billboard Magazine’s Contemporary Jazz charts at number one. Both of these talented pianists will appear on stage in the intimate setting of the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall for one night only.

What became mostly a surprise … [Read More its Good for You.....]
