The Fluidity and Nature’s Beauty, Life’s Pleasures Exhibition

This exhibition at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach features The Fluidity by Sharon Goldman and Nature’s Beauty, Life’s Pleasures by Doug Gerhardt and Judy Gerhardt. The exhibition through July 7 captures the simple theme of summer with scenes of reflective water and bold, bright hues of color. During the week, participating restaurants in St. Augustine will offer unique burger and beer combinations. The restaurants will create a specialty burger that is not on the regular menu for $8. The restaurants will compete for the most unique burger. Participating restaurants include Beachcomber Restaurant, Beaches, Burger Buckets, Cheezees Grill, Hurricane Patty’s, Jaybird’s Restaurant, Mango Mango’s, One Twenty Three Burger House, Shaughnessy’s Sports Grill, The Black Molly Grill, The Press, The Tides Oyster Co. & Grill and The Uncaged Cork. Yoga on the Beach
Each Tuesday morning through September, join yoga fitness instructor Emily Johnson as she leads a free Yoga session on St. Augustine Beach at 8 a.m., weather permitting. The yoga sessions take place on the beach at the Ocean Hammock Walkover. Alejandro Escovedo Band with Pat Puckett Trio at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall
Renowned songwriter, singer, true believer, Alejandro Escovedo released Burn Something Beautiful on October 28, 2016, via Fantasy Records. The new album, Escovedo’s first solo endeavor since 2012’s highly acclaimed Big Station, is in actuality, a highly collaborative affair. Teaming with Peter Buck (R.E.M.) and Scott McCaughey (The Minus 5) to co-write the album’s songs, Escovedo also enlisted the pair to act as the project’s producers. Pat Puckett has toured as guitarist for Alejandro Escovedo, Crooked Fingers and Laura Minor. KPMG Women’s PGA Championship Week at the Hall of Fame
Visit the Hall of Fame during the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship week and enjoy learning about Hall of Fame Members who are past champions. There will be a special photo opportunity with tournament artifacts. The broadcast will be shown throughout the museum during the week. She Is Fierce! Women’s Wednesday Speaker Series
Get inspired by the stories of women who have been through it all and came out the other side triumphant. Speakers share their personal stories of struggle, triumph and all the little moments to cherish in between. Each speaker has her own unique story and brings her own fierce energy and enthusiasm for life to her talk. The talks take place at The Treasury on the Plaza each Wednesday until June 28. Cocktails and connections begin at 5 p.m. The talk begins at 6:15 p.m. This week’s speaker is Melanie Lawson, anchor at News 4 Jax. Music by the Sea Concert
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, this free weekly concert series at the St. Johns County Pier features a wide variety of musical genres from 7-9 p.m. Bring a beach chair or blanket along with a favorite beverage and get ready to dance. Starting at 6 p.m., dinner is offered as an option for concert goers. All dinners are priced at $10 or less. This week’s performance is by Jax English Salsa Band, and the featured restaurant is La Strada Italian Restaurant. Summer Movie Series

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and the Colonial Quarter have teamed up to provide the free Summer Movie Series at the Colonial Oak Music Park. This week’s movie, which begins at 8:30 p.m., is Fantastic Beasts. Free transportation is provided by Ripley’s Red Trains from the parking garage and Ripley’s stops to the St. George Street stop. The shuttle service runs every 15 minutes from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and resumes after the movie. Fins and Freedom Sail
Schooner Freedom Charters and Marineland, the dolphin experts, are bringing you a one-of-a-kind sailing experience. Guests will hear from Marineland educators about the world’s first oceanarium. Also, guests will learn about dolphins and the conservation efforts at Marineland. Complimentary beverages included; passengers may bring snacks or a picnic. Ticket price includes the sail and admission into Marineland. The boat departs at 2:15 p.m. from the St. Augustine Municipal Marina and lasts two hours. GTM Research Reserve Guided Exploration Hike
The first Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. take a guided exploration hike that focuses on the Guana Peninsula’s 5,000 years of human history. This 1.5-mile guided walking tour departs from the Trailhead Pavilion located just west of the Guana Dam. The programs are free. Militia Muster and Training at Fort Mose
Visit Fort Mose on the first Saturday each month from 9-11:30 a.m. to be transported back to the 18th century. Learn from the members of the Fort Mose Militia as they practice firing drills and demonstrate how to use historic weapons and show musket firing drills. There is also a children’s militia training that uses wooden toy muskets. The park is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission into the park is free. Book Signing at the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum
The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum will host a book signing with world-renowned author Baylus Brooks in the courtyard of the museum from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Brooks is a noted maritime historian, author and conservator. Ripley’s Superhero Summer!

All Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® attractions in Florida, including the St. Augustine location, are hosting a new event for some unbelievable summer fun – Ripley’s Superhero Summer!. Ripley’s will host Marvel® characters throughout the summer on select dates from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Spider-Man will make an appearance on this date. Red, White & Boom 2017
Hosted by the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, this event offers options to enjoy dining and watching the World Golf Village Fireworks. From 6-9 p.m., there will be a Villagio Dinner Buffet held inside the restaurant. Tickets to the buffet dinner are $45 for adults and $20 for youth ages 6-12. From 7-10 p.m., there will be a VIP La Terrazza Party held outside. Tickets to the party are $95 for adults and $35 for youth ages 6-12. There will also be a concession located at the gazebo between the hotel and CaddyShack Restaurant where BBQ, beer, wine, soda and water will be available to purchase. Plus, there will be additional locations throughout the area to purchase drinks. Tickets are required for the VIP La Terrazza Party and Villagio Dinner Buffet and will be sold from June 26-July 2 from 2-6 p.m. at the Navigator Desk in the hotel lobby. World Golf Village Fireworks and IMAX Movie
World Golf Village celebrates Independence Day with its annual community fireworks and movie packages at the IMAX Theater on Monday. Movie and fireworks packages feature one ticket to the 7 p.m. showing (guests must check in for the movie no later than 6:30 p.m.) of Transformers: The Last Knight, popcorn, a fountain drink, complimentary parking and a spectacular fireworks show after the movie. The movie and fireworks package is $20 for the general public; $15 for Movie Club Members. Guests are welcome to enjoy the stunning fireworks display over the water in the heart of the World Golf Village at approximately 9:30 p.m. Tickets are not required to view the fireworks, and food and beverages will be on sale throughout the grounds. Start off your Fourth of July with this 5K race and 1-mile fun walk at St. Johns Golf and Country Club. The race begins at 8 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white and blue. Fireworks Over the Matanzas
The 4th of July Concert and Fireworks in St. Augustine starts at 6 p.m. with music by The All Star Orchestra in the Plaza de la Constitución. At 9:30 p.m., one of the largest fireworks displays on the East Coast bursts above the ancient Castillo de San Marcos and reflects in the waters of the Matanzas Bay. Admission is free with the best vantage points along the bayfront between the Castillo and the Bridge of Lions. Parking is available in the parking garage. Fourth of July Sail
Join Schooner Freedom Charters for a Fourth of July Sail to see the St. Augustine fireworks from the water. The sail is from 7-10:30 p.m. and departs from the St. Augustine Municipal Marina.
