IMAX 3D Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The Light of Christmas

Christmas Caroling on the Red Train
Join the fun as carolers of all ages ride the Ripley’s Red Train with Miss Carrie Johnson to bring cheer and song to St. Augustine eldercare facilities. The train will depart from the Willie Galimore Recreation Center at 5 p.m. Stops will include a caroling stroll through St. Joseph’s Convent, Bayview Nursing Home and Buckingham Smith Assisted Living. Along the way, carolers will enjoy the Christmas lights and spread cheer through the streets. GTM Research Reserve Marineland Lecture
This free lecture series is held on the third Tuesday of the month from 10-11 a.m. at Marineland Dolphin Adventure. This month’s lecture features Maia McGuire, from the Florida Microplastic Awareness Project. Tickets must be purchased online. Marineland River-to-Sea Trail Walk
The GTM Research Reserve offers an opportunity to follow the wooded trail to the Matanzas River at the River-to-Sea Preserve. An interpretive guide will tell you all about old Florida’s moss-laden trees, seasonal flowering shrubs, and Native American lore, including how they used various plants for food, beverage and medicine. Villa Zorayda’s Candlelight Tour

Join the Villa Zorayda this holiday season for its annual Candlelight Tour. The museum is beautifully decorated for the holidays with a spectacular Christmas tree decorated in the colors of the Zorayda, red and gold. More than 100 candles are aglow throughout the museum as docents lead the tour by candlelight. The tour begins at 6 p.m. Tours last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Apex Theatre presents It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

Following last season’s celebrated Holiday Pops performance, the Southwest Florida Symphony returns to St. Augustine with Music Director and Conductor Kir Kabaretti, who came to Southwest Florida from the Santa Barbara Symphony in California. As Fort Myers’ only professional symphony and the oldest symphony orchestra in Southwest Florida, the Southwest Florida Symphony enters its 55th season this year, having made its debut as a community orchestra in April 1961.
