Dressing Downton: Changing Fashions for Changing Times Exhibition
Immerse yourself in fashion and history in this highly anticipated exhibition at the Lightner Museum. Dressing Downton™, a 13-week display of 36 authentic Victorian Era costumes and accessories from PBS’s most popular television drama in history, Downton Abbey®, will be elegantly displayed in the museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery. The museum is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for college students and seniors, $10 for 12-17-year-olds, and free for youth under age 12. The ticket cost includes entry to the museum. There will be special Upstairs/Downstairs Tours and Afternoon Teas that take place daily during the exhibition. High Tea at Cafe Alcazar
Immerse yourself with the full experience of the Dressing Downton exhibition with a special tea in the Cafe Alcazar located in the historic pool area of the Lightner Museum. The high teas will include sweet and savory items reminiscent of Gilded Age high style. Through January 7 teas will be at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 2 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Upstairs/Downstairs at the Alcazar Tours
The history of the Lightner Museum as well as its former splendor as the Alcazar Hotel shows many parallels to the time period and lives of the characters of the popular television series Downton Abbey®. This is a guided tour to areas of the museum typically closed to the public where participants will learn what life was like for both guests and staff who visited and worked at the Alcazar Hotel during the Gilded Age in St. Augustine. The tour lasts one hour and is in addition to the Dressing Downton exhibition and continues through January 7. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased through the website. The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach introduces the Ponte Vedra Artisan Market, a pop-up shop exclusively dedicated to promote and sell wearable items designed and crafted by artists. Villa Zorayda is beautifully decorated for the holidays with a spectacular Christmas tree decorated in the colors of the Zorayda, red and gold for their 8th annual Candlelight Tour. More than 100 candles are aglow throughout the museum. The tour is at 6 p.m. General admission is $16. Admission for youth ages 7-12 is $7 and admission is free for youth ages 4-6. Everyone Can Conserve: A GTM and SJC Family Conservation Night

Luminary Night
Luminary Night at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum is a family friendly tradition during Nights of Lights. The celebration takes place 6-9 p.m. and features youth activities and holiday crafts, yuletide refreshments and live music, including a string quartet inside the lighthouse tower. Guests can enjoy the lighthouse’s spectacular holiday decorations and lighting displays as well as climb the lighthouse tower to see St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights from the top. Taking place each weekend in December, Enchanted Christmas Village features holiday musical performances, bounce houses, wagon rides through the enchanted trail, pictures with Santa, yard games, photo op cut outs and plenty of food and craft venders. Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve
Hosted by the GTM Research Reserve, you’re invited to join docents from 8:30-10:30 a.m. to learn how to pull a seine net. Colonial Kids Day
Join Fort Matanzas for a free day of history, crafts and games from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with a living history re-enactor dressed in period clothing who will demonstrate the activities common to the life of a colonial Spanish soldier from the 1740s and discuss the role played by Fort Matanzas in protecting St. Augustine. Visitors will be able to view a soldier’s encampment. Castillo Holiday Open House

Holiday Regatta of Lights
