The much-aniticipated opening of the new St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, December 8. The museum will open to the public at 9 a.m. on that date and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with extended hours during the holiday season.
The new museum houses one of the world’s rarest and most valuable collections of pirate artifacts. Plus, the museum tells the story of pirates in a factual and entertaining way through the use of interactive exhibits. Included in the exhibits will be a Rogue’s Gallery devoted to the pirate captains to whom the town of St. Augustine was well-known.
