The Green Register Shouts-Out to the ‘Fortune’ Coming in 2013!

The Green Register Shouts-Out to the ‘Fortune’ Coming in 2013!

Even the name – Fortune Brainstorm Green: Sustainable Solutions – jumps right off the page. This is what the environmental community is all about, after all – brainstorming. The ability to research, discover, discuss, investigate and find a way to work together in order to save this planet and make this a far better place for us to live.

Now that 2013 has arrived, Brainstorm Green is going to do it yet again. Fortune Magazine will tirelessly work in order to timthumbbring together what they call, “the smartest people we know in sustainability,” so that they can work as a true team on some of the most difficult problems and issues that are happening around the globe as we speak. What happens at this conference is that a dedicated crew  works to find the “sustainable solutions” we need in order to survive.

Sustainability is what we are all striving for; from sustainable design to sustainable energy, we need to find those processes that can be maintained at a certain level for as long as we need them to be without affecting the environment in a negative way. This is true sustainable development which, in its most basic term, is the creation of things that “meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs in the future.” When speaking about this, you are speaking about ALL aspects of human society from the economic, social and institutional forms to the environmental aspects of what this human world can do to the non-human world if we are not more careful.

Brainstorm Green will find those innovative approaches to the issues that we face now concerning corporate and business sustainability, energy, the ability to create and develop smart cities, and how best to invest in the future economy. Business and industry is the key at this particular ‘summit,’ and the most intelligent CEOs, senior executives, investors, policy makers, environmentalists and thought leaders will be on hand.

Brainstorm Green is one of the ‘meetings’ that has included some true ‘names’ in the political and social world; from Sir Richard Branson to former President Clinton to Wal-Mart’s Rob Walton, and many more; people who are considered true leaders, creators and visionaries that want to see this world become a better place and allow it to expand without harming the planet.

Ever since 2001, Fortune Brainstorm has been working tirelessly on these subjects, and their list of events have built extremely amazing relationships and brought together influential leaders in order to achieve success. This is why Brainstorm Green has become and remains the ‘leading national conference on business and the environment.’

Their commitment is strong and true, making sure that the most important aspects of business and industry are addressed. They work extremely hard in order to encourage others to create and hold events and conferences that will cause more progress to be made, as we make sure that the responsible use of our natural resources and minimizing our carbon footprint are taken very seriously.

They even go one step further by offering a true ‘education’ to those who need it. Fortune Brainstorm TECH will also be held coming in July of 2013 to the Aspen Institute in Colorado. It is very true that Fortune Brainstorm TECH is a huge marketplace of ideas that brings together the smartest people on the planet; from the world’s top technology and media thinkers, operators, entrepreneurs, innovators, and the most influential people in our nation.

Fortune offers a great many services when it comes to ‘going green’ and the issues at hand. It was in London at the inaugural Fortune Magazine Most Powerful Women international meeting and gala dinner that the most recognized and prominent European female business leaders, as well as selected leaders from the areas of government, media, and the arts met together in order to network, make new friendships and alliances so that this globe could come to terms with the issues at hand and find solutions to sustainability.

In the meantime, The Green Register wants to give a ‘shout out’ to Fortune and Brainstorm Green for the time, work, effort, and ingenuity that is going into saving our planet for the next generation!

Chips Film Review by Kam Williams Dax Shepard and Michael Pena Co-Star in Raunchy Revival of Classic Cop Series Whenever a classic television series is made into a movie, the buzz always seems to be about whether the screen version will be a creative variation on the theme or merely a campy, cornball, take-the-money-and-run ripoff trading in familiar formulas and shopworn cliches.   Will NASCAR Theatrics Bring Back Viewers? by Amy Lignor   For any of the millions who once watched ABC’s Wide World of Sports and heard the words “the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat,” they remember the footage of a skier’s crash when it came to the “agony” side of things.
