Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant
691 N. 1st Street
Jacksonville Beach, Florida
Recognized in 2005 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of the Historic Hotels of America, The Casa Marina Hotel offers 23 bedrooms and parlor suites, individually and dramatically decorated to represent the distinctive styles of its dazzling history. Its salon-inspired restaurant is reminiscent of oceanfront fine dining anywhere in the world. Both the Hotel and Restaurant bring a feeling of classic, timeless glamour from the 1920’s to Jacksonville Beach, a blend of history, natural beauty and sophisticated culture. Since the Hotel opened its doors onto an expanse of the Jacksonville beaches in 1925, when every postcard of the era announced ‘World’s Finest Beach’, it has remained a fascinating landmark of Florida history. There have been many forgotten moments in the vast drama of the 1920’s, but the mystery of the Casa is that she must have seen it all.
