St. Johns Golf Club will host a St. Patrick’s Day “Luck of the Irish” Scramble on March 17th, 2012.
St. Johns Golf Club is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day “Luck of the Irish” Scramble 17th March, starting at 1 p.m. The format is a 4 person team scramble with the players being chosen by a captain. The scoring is based off 10% of the team’s total handicap and after play has been completed there will be a drawing for each team. The drawing will allow each team to select a hole at random and the hole they pick will be thrown out which will not count toward the team’s final score.
The fee to sign-up a team is $45 person or $40 if you are a member of St. John’sGolf Club. The fee will cover the course fee, range balls, the prizes, and food. The menu will consist of Shepherd’s Pie, salads, rolls, and in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, the restaurant will be selling “Green” beer at $1. Please make sure to register your team by Wednesday March 14th, 2012.
St. Johns Golf Club is a public course offering daily tee times up to a week in advance. The course has 18 championship holes and welcomes players of all ages and skill levels.
