St. Johns County, FL. – The Tillman Ridge Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Station, located at 3005 Allen Nease Road in Elkton, will be temporarily closed to all residential and commercial activity on Saturday, November 2, due to unexpected repairs. St. Johns County will reopen this station to the public on Monday, November 4.
In the interim, all municipal solid waste permitted by the St. Johns County Solid Waste Management Division at Tillman Ridge, such as tires and hazardous waste, can be properly disposed of at the Stratton Road Transfer Station, 250 N. Stratton Road. Construction and demolition debris or yard waste will not be accepted.
