St. Johns County, FL. – The St. Johns County Public Library System is pleased to announce National Library Card Signup month beginning September 1. Patrons who secure their free library card will not only be eligible for an array of valuable services, including media source checkouts and access to online databases, but can also enjoy free admission to Florida State Parks on Sunday, September 8.
Visit your local library branch during the month of September to receive a new library card and explore the many exciting programs and activities offered for patrons of all ages, including regularly scheduled story times, work-source seeker services, and movie nights. Parents and caregivers are also reminded that today’s libraries provide students with access to new and innovative software and tools for tackling school assignments, including TumbleBooks and World Book Kids.
