On Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 9 AM, the 7th Annual Harrij Costa Memorial Relay for Life Golf Tournament will be held at the St. Augustine Shores Golf Club.
This year’s event is to raise funds for the 2013 St. Augustine Relay for Life event. For a $40 per player fee, golf, cart, practice balls, prizes, water, lunch by Firehouse Subs, and a chance to win a 2013 Ford F150 truck, courtesy of Bozard Ford, are all included. Additional donation opportunities will include drawings for products and charity baskets donated by local businesses, a professional PGA memorabilia auction, and professional photographs by the Jags and Sharks photographer, Joshua Phillips. Auctioneer and photographer are both donating a portion of their proceeds to the 2013 St. Augustine Relay for Life. An opportunity to win a $300 grand prize drawing donated by Jalaram Hotels, Inc. is included with every registration.

Monies raised throughout the community for the Relay for Life events are primarily used in the community to support programs for survivors and caregivers, including camp for our cancer kids, the cancer support center hotlines, advocacy efforts in our state, and education in our schools. Some of the funds are contributed toward research grants to study cures and prevention of cancer.
