Pilates: Rising in Popularity to Help Folks ‘Xist’ Longer

There are a host of exercises out there; from power-walking to biking to hardcore muscle toning and training, there are many to choose from. But one of the most popular workouts comes in the form of pilates.

Xist Fitness, which is the ultimate gym in the country, promotes wellness. One of the ways it exceeds others is its constant mission to help members achieve all they’re looking for when it comes to good health. This is not one of those gym environments you would expect; Xist Fitness is all about Pilatescomfort. They offer the best customer service, the latest technology in the form of high-quality machines, and the superior trainers are always on hand. Xist not only wants to help their members firm, tone and lose weight, but their greatest mission is to open a new world to their clients where they can discover good health and ‘Xist’ for a good, long time.

Xist Fitness is a proponent of bringing to the consumer the information and data they need in order to make sure they get the type of workout that’s best for them.

If unaware, pilates is one physical fitness system that dates back to the early 20th century; and as of 2013, there are more than a million people practicing the discipline regularly. They swear by it, in fact. Not only are they using this body conditioning routine for weight loss, but they have also seen the proof that pilates works when it comes to flexibility, muscle strength, and increasing endurance in their legs, abdominals and more. By using pilates they also improve their coordination and balance.

Another reason why pilates may be so popular is the fact that this system is a lot more fun and diverse than simply lifting weights one right after the other. Pilates includes all different exercises that can be modified from beginning to advanced; and when the intensity is increased over time, the body is far better able to adapt to the pilates exercise.

A highly-specialized system, pilates can now be found everywhere from community centers to gyms. But the body is not the only thing pilates benefits. A majority of people already know that poor health can come from tension, anxiety and stress – the big three of everyday life. Choosing yoga is right for some because of the peace and serenity it brings, but pilates is the right choice for others because it, too, offers a way to work out the stress and tension in a comfortable way.

When it comes to dieting, pilates is an amazing source to use. Being aware of one’s body can provide people with motivation. Just by learning the right Logo Xist Fitway to sit or stand can help relieve everyday aches and pains, (such as the ones that come from sitting in front of the computer all day long, which a majority of the population now does). With pilates, comes that body awareness that saves people from having to deal with chronic pain. When that motivation meets up with that education, the person loses weight by understanding what to eat, what not, and how to balance their nutrition.

With all this comes superior health, and, yes, even six-pack abs can be attained. But, not in a 60-day workout. Pilates makes sure that you are not bringing undue pain to your joints and muscles, because of the fact that you do not have the flexibility it requires to do the exercise properly.

Pilates is all about flexibility. And when a muscle is flexible, more workout movements can be done – helping to get the muscle tone you want, without having to head to a local store to get more aspirin for the pain.

Remember – educate yourself. Xist Fitness promotes stability for their clients by offering them far more than just a place to work out. They promote the essence of building a body that will remain healthy!

There Are Superheroes Among Us

There Are Superheroes Among Us by Amy Lignor   This story truly proves that a superhero does not require a cape, tights, or the ability to fly. In a world where all headlines seem to be centered around who shot who, who is being put upon, who’s “getting away with it” – all the way to who is getting divorced and who may or may not be kneeling at NFL games – negative stories seem to be the only ones covered anymore by the media. … [Read More its Good for You...]
