Great Hunting Tract, Bowie County, Texas

A meticulously planned WRP program has been implemented to create a waterfowl paradise less than two hours from DFW. Controlled water using levies and gates provide a large waterfowl reservoir of 27 acres. Numerous small ponds and sloughs are sprinkled through the thousands of hardwood seedings that were planted as part of the plan. Gated and graveled entry leads to potential cabin site that was held out of WRP, as well as lanes throughout the property and small strategic food plots planted in Biologic to draw the large whitetails out of the Red River just 1/4 mile away. Included are two large elevated deer blinds and a pit for waterfowl hunting. This place has potential as a hunting club, family retreat, or outfitter’s HQ.
