Missouri Waterfowl Sweet Spot

The perfect spot: a duck hunting and recreational tract that’s for sale in Henry County, Missouri. There is 112 acres south close to Blairstown, MO, in Henry County, west of Highway O, north of Highway 7, northeast of Urich and northwest of Clinton. The property borders Big Creek on south side and Willow Creek on west side. It sits in a bend of Big Creek and holds a lot of wintering waterfowl. Drive thru a shared gate off a gravel road. On your right before getting to the property is a row crop farm and on left is duck hunting. The property’s western neighbor has access thru this gate and along main levee and has a small warming trailer by the walk bridge. The property has a main east-west levee and then a north-south levee. The northeast section of the property is divided into 4 pools, 2 have duck blinds, and timber area. The south section is divided into 2 pools (with 1 duck blind), timber and a large field with 2 goose pits. The west section has a pool along the north-south levee and timber. Take the walk bridge across Willow Creek to a triangular piece of timber that is bordered on south by Big Creek and north by a small duck hunting piece owned by the neighbors with the easement. There are small and large duck hunting properties all throughout this area. This tract borders Black Duck Club, Stan Kroenke’s duck property. You can see their lodge standing at the north property line. Deer stands are scattered throughout the property. The north side of the property is bordered by another large duck hunting tract. Water is controlled by a number of flapper gates and pipes. Water for pools comes from creek flooding or you can set up your own pump station from the creeks. Deer and turkey are also seen on the property. Tract is about one hour or so from Kansas City area.
