The Putting Course and Challenge Hole at World Golf Village are two permanent outdoor exhibits of the World Golf Hall of Fame, located on the Walk of Champions. The Putting Course is an 18-hole, real grass championship putting course designed to United States Golf Association specifications. To maintain its authenticity, the greens are mowed and the flag sticks and tee markers are moved daily. For those that are up to it, the Challenge Hole is a short, yet testing, 132-yard shot-over-water island green, reminiscent of the famed 17th hole of the Stadium Course at the Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. At 132 yards, it does not seem too challenging, until one steps up and faces the water.
