Marguerite Mumford 2010 Executive of the Year

Insurance Women of Jacksonville, FL an affiliate with the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) has named Marguerite Mumford as 2010 Executive of the Year. Mumford received the award on May 18 during the insurance organization’s annual luncheon and awards presentation. Mumford is the owner of Paul Davis Restoration offices in Jacksonville and Gainesville, FL. She and her husband have owned and operated the franchise offices since 1999. Her company provides mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction services with some of most sophisticated restoration and contents cleaning equipment available in the industry.

As an affiliate of NAIW, the Insurance Women of Jacksonville serves its members by providing professional education, an environment in which to build business alliances and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry.

The organization’s Executive of the Year award is presented to an outstanding woman in the community each year. This year, Mumford received the award for her work with the insurance industry on claims in residential and commercial restoration, repairs and reconstruction and for her professionalism while working in an allied field.

In addition to her company and work responsibilities, Mumford received the award for her numerous community service initiatives including pro bono and paid sponsorships for St. Gerard Campus in St. Augustine, FL and The Bolles School in Jacksonville. Her dedication to help those in need includes the recent donation of labor, materials and supplies to rebuild a home for a retired school teacher. Mumford is also dedicated to restoring homes and properties in Jacksonville’s historic Springfield community. She and her husband are involved with their grade school and college age children’s activities in education and sports. Mumford’s activities include her parents who are active and living in Ponte Vedra Beach.

According to Sandy Lopez, Paul Davis Restoration’s Marketing Representative, she entered the nomination because of Mumford’s company credo to provide consistent, high quality service for Paul Davis customers in the insurance community and property owners. “Marguerite has positioned her business as the ‘go to’ company for quick response time and quality service,” said Lopez. “Marguerite places great importance in staff development with technicians who are certified from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification in water, fire, and smoke damage restoration,” she said. “We are all very proud of Marguerite’s accomplishments in her professional life as well as her service to friends, family and those in need.”
