LOCAL BANDS TO OPEN UP THIS WEEK
AT PONTE VEDRA CONCERT HALL
Along with bringing worldwide touring acts, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is focusing on bringing local talent to the stage. This week, local bands Klob and Driven will be performing, opening up for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and .
On Wednesday night, Klob, a Jacksonville area 5 piece band will hit the stage, opening for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Klob is a local favorite, with their music crossing genres between blues and soul. Klob is comprised of vocalist/keyboardist Kip Kolb, Brian Jenkins on drums, Louie LeClaire on bass, Mike Kiramarios on the saxophone and Mike Bowman.
The next night, local rock band Driven will open up for Queensryche. The four members of Driven hail from various otherJacksonville bands, but combine talent, style and dedication to rock. Tory Ivy is the lead vocalist, with Mike Barber on guitar/vocals, Jorge “Thumper” Colgan on drums/vocals, and Brian Pannell on bass.
Tickets for both shows are on sale currently at theSt.Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, and will be available day of each show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office. Additionally, tickets are for sale at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
