Kingdom Keepers for a Fifth Knockout Round!

Kingdom Keepers: Shell Game, is Book Five of this truly incredible series. The five young people that make up the ‘band’ of “Kingdom Keepers” are now Freshmen in high school, which not only means they’re still doing a tough job, but now they are at a point in their lives where their minds and bodies are changing daily. For those who haven’t read the first installments of this amazing series, these are the band of kids who watch over the Disney parks and try to keep the ‘Overtakers’ (Maleficent, and other witches) from, well…taking over.

This is not good writing – this is GREAT writing, but after all this is Ridley Pearson we’re speaking about. In this installment, the kids take off on the high seas aboard The Disney Dream, on a cruise to Los Angeles. The Dream is new and is about to become the best and most advanced ship, technically, in the entire world.

The guides are: Finn, Maybeck, Charlene, Willa and Philby and they find themselves on the cruise as celebrity guests; they are about to have a ribbon cutting ceremony for a ‘DHI’ server – which will change the landscape of technology forever – to go live on the internet.

Unfortunately, there are some upsetting things happening in the bowels of the ship; almost all of the Disney villains are on board. The Kingdom Keepers know these “Overtakers” are there and that was the reason for their invitations to attend. They believe that the ‘Overtakers’ have stolen a very important book that was once the property of Walt Disney and they are planning a mission to get it back.

As they leave the dock with a full complement of guests and crew, they get a surprise when Maleficent suddenly appears (by video screen) and warns the passengers of the troubles they are sailing into. And when the ship arrives at Castaway Key, one of the beautiful ports of call, they discover that back at the park, the Maintenance Base is actually under attack by the ‘Overtakers’ and the ‘Overtakers’ are close to smelling victory. What does this mean? This means that the heroes must go into ‘attack mode’ in order to save their people from the Maleficent’s of the world in order to come out on top once again.

Yet another time that Ridley Pearson has ‘knocked it out of the park.’ Disney should feel extremely privileged and lucky to have THIS writer on THEIR team.

Until Next Time, Everybody,

Amy

Charity Begins at Home

Charity Begins at Home by Amy Lignor   Turning a blind eye is easy for some; preferred by others. But the fact is that the bad doesn’t become good – in any area – unless eyes are open wide to not only see what’s occurring, but also to gain the knowledge needed to stop the bad from getting even worse. Remarks are made about “other countries” and what they do wrong when it comes to the harming of animals for profit. However, in … [Read More its Good for You...]
