Jeff Olson’s Legacy: Making The World A Happier Place!

One would think that Jeff Olson, CEO and founder of Nerium International, a 2 year old company that has broken ALL records in the industry including record breaking sales of $100 million in its first full year would have had his plate too full to launch another project.  Especially one with such lofty goals as launching a GLOBAL HAPPINESS movement.

Boy-Hugging-Grandpa

What does that mean?  Jeff has brought together many great minds with one purpose, to make the world of positive psychology go mainstream.  Personal development has been near and dear to Jeff’s heart for many years.  The People’s Network, a 24/7 personal development TV network, was one of his many successful businesses.  He knows just about everyone in that world, and knows the power of developing people into the leader or just person they were born to be.

In fact, all Brand Partners at Nerium are encouraged to read or listen to 10 pages or 10 minutes of something to feed the mind with positive thinking.  Making people better is the mantra at Nerium, and also one that Jeff has lived.

But the problem is, as he says, even today 80% of people are not interested in personal development when asked about it.  However, in the last 15 years the Positive Psychology movement has launched and grown by leaps and bounds.  In fact, in the last 6 months over 1,000 articles have been published with real science and hard data to prove that there are ways to make people happier with some simple practices.  And as Jeff has said, when you ask people if they want to learn more about how to become happier a huge number will be open to it.

Jeff has brought the happiness movement to Nerium International in the form of Shawn Achor, a happiness researcher and author of The Happiness Advantage.  He always does a powerful workshop at the Nerium conferences.

As a result, Jeff had an idea back about a year ago and has been working on bringing the finest minds together to launch what will surely be his LEGACY.  A new magazine called LIVE HAPPY will be sold starting in November.  And there is a website with all of the content for free.  AND when you sign up for the website you become a “happiness ambassador” and can spread the word.  You will begin to see your “happy reach” spread across the world.

The site is namaste.mylivehappy.com  and is FREE.  You, too, can become a happiness ambassador.  AND you can read all of the great content about happiness and how to become a happier person even if your DNA is not naturally happy DNA.

Amazingly, Hudson News who has the lock on all of the newsstands at every airport gave him the prime display next to the cash register through 2014!  Also, Barnes and Noble and other locations will be selling and displaying Live Happy.  The world is looking for more happiness, especially in the midst of all of the negative news on cable and elsewhere all day every day.   And Jeff Olson, best selling author (The Slight Edge), successful business man and now happiness guru is launching his most important project and what will surely by his legacy!

We Are Still…All in This Together!

We Are Still…All in This Together! by Amy Lignor   December 7, 1941. Sunday morning was lovely on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. A typical Sunday, in fact, where people were moving calmly and in a relaxed “weekend-mode” stance at the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Fleet Headquarters. Just before the clocks struck 8:00 a.m., however, the country of Japan launched planes from six aircraft carriers in what would be considered the “first wave” of … [Read More its Good for You...]
