How the 2014 Franchisee Can Earn Success

How the 2014 Franchisee Can Earn Success

~ by Carmen Schwartz

tan_co_main_a2When heading to the computer in this day and age and calling up a list of franchise opportunities, there are lists longer than Santa’s Christmas Wishes. There is a reason for that in 2014; and that reason stems from the fact that the career path of ‘franchisee’ is something that has become beneficial to the hard workers out there who want nothing more than to be their own boss.

But, as with anything in life and any industry out there, lists of ‘do’s and don’ts’ in regards to creating a successful franchise are found everywhere, as well. There are the schemers, as we all know, and there are the well-thought-out franchises that are making money and have built a brand name nationwide because of the fact that their marketing plan, services, and products were successful.

Opening a small business in 2014 is more than difficult without the help of social media. And when it comes to having a successful franchise, or – wiser yet – becoming a franchisee of an already successful franchise – social media is one of the key ingredients that make that dream ‘success’ into a reality.

Hard work is a must, of course. But when investing time, energy and work, isn’t it better to do this within the confines of a franchise that has already proven to be profitable? After all, the career is for a lifetime; you have the option of opening multiple franchises and not just one for a successful franchisor; and you have the ability to build your own resume and discover exactly what type of industry you are the best at.

Being a franchisee also allows you to utilize the skills you have learned in the workplace. Whether it be sales, using a great attitude that increases ROR (Return on Relationship), thus, increasing ROI (Return on Investment) – or even creative design and ingenuity when it comes to holding events for a target audience – becoming a franchisee for an already successful franchisor allows you limitless options to dust off your skills and make a name for yourself in the business world.

In regards to staffing a franchise, yet again, becoming a franchisee for an already successful marketing plan will bring your ROI back far more quickly. A franchisor who has set up the skills needed to get the most experienced staff possible for the customer, is a good thing. The ground work, so to speak, has already been done. Which leaves you, the new franchisee, far more time to bring in the money, and make sure the services your franchise provides the ‘neighborhood’ are the best anywhere near you.

Word-of-mouth will never change. Even though social media and the ever-vast world of computer technology will bring your brand’s information to the masses, face-to-face communication is a must to build that local business. A successful franchisee serves clients so well that the buzz increases in the community, bringing more customer’s through your open doors. Yet again, if this is done with one franchise, more can be purchased and built in various other areas and neighborhoods of the big city that will increase your cash and standing in your industry.

There is no doubt that when it comes to purchasing a franchise there is always a risk on the investment placed into it. But when it comes to that successful franchisor that has built a respected name brand across the country, your risk is little to none. All that your business relies upon is your hard work and attitude, and the fact that you can follow the plan in place, while also bringing innovative and creative ideas to the table when it comes to events, social media, reviews, customer service – and the ability to launch your ‘already known’ brand in your own surroundings.

A ‘5-Star’ franchise is difficult to locate, but this is definitely the type of franchise you want to buy into and become a part of to begin a long, successful career. There Are Superheroes Among Us

There Are Superheroes Among Us by Amy Lignor   This story truly proves that a superhero does not require a cape, tights, or the ability to fly. In a world where all headlines seem to be centered around who shot who, who is being put upon, who’s “getting away with it” – all the way to who is getting divorced and who may or may not be kneeling at NFL games – negative stories seem to be the only ones covered anymore by the media. … [Read More its Good for You...]
