Holidays Are Just Beginning as OEM Truck Sales Continue to Rise

Husky Truck salesOriginal equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have a great deal to smile about these days with OEM truck sales rising – and the 4×4 ‘gifts’ wrapped in red bows still have yet to be purchased.

Everyone has seen the headlines over the past few months: “Medium/Heavy Truck Sales up 10% in July”; “Truck Sales Rise 4% in August”; October Sales Rise 15%”; “Overall Truck Sales For 2013 Up Compared to 2012.” And as the third quarter closed in September, OEM’s posted their profits, with almost every company reporting a 10% to 50% rise (or better) on the strength of high North American truck sales.

The words “significantly better than 2012” were thrown about by OEM’s when posting their increase over last year’s numbers, with truck companies delivering hundreds of thousands of units. Even in these times of economic uncertainty, OEM’s have been able to deliver on their ability to drive down the cost of production by producing components and products of superior quality.

With the list of positives happening in OEM Truck Sales, all new buyers are being encouraged more than ever before to equip their vehicle with aftermarket accessories to protect the look and the value of their vehicles. Husky Liners continues to be a leader in this space.

The sales figures were not just good, some are actually calling them extraordinary. U.S. customers purchased 1,503,151 new cars and light trucks just in August alone. From the CR-V to RAV4; Rogue to Outlander Sport, sales were all up by more than a third. September, October, November…everything continues to show robust sales.

All three domestic manufacturers have either gained market share or remain even, with Asian models skyrocketing.

In other words, as those new trucks roll into your driveway — perhaps as a brand new present to yourself or a loved one for the holiday season — remember to make it that much better with the “must-have” Husky Liners line of products and accessories.
