Harvest of Hope Fest Adds Broken Social Scene, Mucca Pazza, Avi Buffalo, and Yelawolf

HOH to offer free shuttle service to downtown & beach

The second annual Harvest of Hope Fest (HOH) is proud to announce the final artist additions. Artists include Broken Social Scene, Chali 2na (From Jurassic 5, pronounced “Charlie Tuna”), Mucca Pazza, & Yelawolf are all set to perform at the Harvest of Hope music festival in St. Augustine, FL March 12th – 14th.

Canadian super group, Broken Social Scene announced today that they will be releasing a new record entitled Forgiveness Rock Record due out on Arts & Crafts May 4th. A track from the upcoming album can be downloaded from their website www.brokensocialscene.ca BSS features members of Metric, Feist, Stars, Do Make Say Think, The Sea and Cake, Tortoise, and Pavement. They will be headlining the main stage on Sunday March 14.

Mucca Pazza (Italian for “Mad Cow) bills themselves as an “astounding circus-punk marching band”. This artist consists of 22 people including cheerleaders. Check out this “Marching band that thinks it’s a rock band” at www.mucca-pazza.org

Chali 2na, most famous for helping found the influential alternative hip hop group Jurassic 5. Will join Dead Prez, & Kool Keith on the hip hop stage March 12.

The 3 day schedule will be released Saturday March 12.

Ticket Prices for 3 day passes are now $49.50. 3 day passes will jump to $60.00 March 12th. Single day tickets are on-sale for $25.00 and day of show single day passes will jump to $35.00. Camping passes are $19.50 per person. A limited number of VIP camping/3 day passes are available for $99.00.

Special ticket promotions will be announced via text message, facebook and twitter.

Also, NEW for this year’s festival will be a free shuttle service from the festival to Downtown Saint Augustine & Saint Augustine Beach.

The Harvest of Hope Fest is unlike most festivals. It is a benefit event with all proceeds donated to the Harvest of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides emergency and educational aid to some of the hardest working and often overlooked people keeping our agricultural economy moving – migrant farm workers. With the charity in mind, artists from over 150 rock, folk, alternative, punk, blues and hip-hop bands perform for free or reduced rates. Select headlining artists have become huge supporters of the Harvest of Hope foundation and will be available for interviews. These artists include: The Mountain Goats, Delta Spirit, Dr. Dog, Kimya Dawson, Anti Flag, Sense Fail & Dead Confederate.
