Go Green and Save with PlastiForm® Boards

For construction, paving and decorative concrete professionals, the right form is everything.

Just think about it: forms literally give concrete its shape. They not only shape and protect concrete while it hardens, they also have to be strong enough to support any reinforcing conduits or rods that are embedded inside it too.

plastiform stair forms 06 smCreating the Perfect Concrete Form

The perfect form has to be tight, strong and rigid; even forming materials bent into radiuses, curves and ray shapes still have to form the concrete. But when was the last time you saw a piece of lumber that would give your concrete a glass finish?

Wood and other fibrous concrete forming materials have to be smooth, proofed and cleaned after every use. You generally get a few uses out of each board, plus all the time and labor spent cleaning, nailing, screwing and everything else that goes into forming your concrete.

Metal is a more reusable material for concrete forming, but it can be difficult to transport, prone to cracking and tends to rust and warp. While you may be able to stack hundreds of linear feet into the back of a truck each load, you also have to worry about storing them in a cool, dry area.

Easy to Use, Easy to Transport, Easy to Take Down

But what if you didn’t have to worry about warping, boards that don’t snap back into shape or even replacing your forming materials after a few uses?

PlastiForm® Boards by PlastiFormCFS were created with the three R’s in mind: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Each board is virgin high quality HDPE, plastic extruded and completely recyclable.

plastiform stair forms smEasy Use, Remove and Clean: With no nails, no screws and few tools (you still need to stake your area!), you’ll be able to create your concrete form quickly and easily. Remove the forms as soon as the concrete won’t slump, hose them down with a pressure washer and they’re good as new.

Lightweight and Easy to Transport: PlastiForm® boards are lightweight and stack together with ease, you can transport 1500 linear feet in a typical lightweight truck. They’re 1/4 the weight of lumber, can save you 75% on both time and labor and pay for themselves within 3 or 4 uses.

Perfect for Every Use: You can cut them just like you cut lumber to create shorter pieces to finish a run for example, reinforce them with rebar or conduit to make them as rigid and strong as lumber, or use them to smooth curves, tight radiuses and even ray and star shapes.

Made in America, Fits Every Budget

PlastiForm® Concrete Forming Systems uses only 100% white, virgin, high quality HDPE, and every board and accessory is made in America. The more you buy, the more you save – but the material will fit just about every budget. There Are Superheroes Among Us

There Are Superheroes Among Us by Amy Lignor   This story truly proves that a superhero does not require a cape, tights, or the ability to fly. In a world where all headlines seem to be centered around who shot who, who is being put upon, who’s “getting away with it” – all the way to who is getting divorced and who may or may not be kneeling at NFL games – negative stories seem to be the only ones covered anymore by the media. … [Read More its Good for You...]
