It is with great sadness that St. Johns County Fire Rescue (SJCFR) announces the passing of Captain Kenneth Joseph Krulish Jr. Captain Krulish passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday afternoon, January 22, 2013. We are all deeply saddened by this unexpected and untimely loss. We have expressed to his wife Amy and the immediate family the sorrow and grief of the entire Department.
Captain Krulish began his career with SJCFR in 1988 working on an ambulance for SJC EMS. Since that time Kenny has progressed through the ranks currently holding the rank of Captain in the North-Central District at Station 15. Captain Krulish has always been an active and well respected member of this Department serving in many roles in both the Administrative and Operations Sections of the Department. If you have ever spoken at length with Kenny then you know that he dreamed of being a fireman since he was a small child. Looking back at his career it is clear to see that he lived that dream and excelled as a Fire Officer with St. Johns County Fire Rescue…Captain Kenny, Squad 51 would be proud.
