Can Baby Boomers Afford To Retire?

Can Baby Boomers Afford To Retire?

by Betsy Smith

Dollars funnel.I have been reading statistics about baby boomers, and most will not have the luxury of retiring at 65 or maybe ever.  The Employee Benefit Research Institute just released a study that said that only 13% surveyed feel confident retiring.  And 57% have less than $25,000 in investment and savings.

Many have debt and lack a short-term cushion.  Many are sandwiched between aging parents and kids in college.  Some report that they have no realistic idea of what it will take to retire, but are concerned that even with Social Security their bills will not be covered.

That may be why so many are joining the direct selling industry.  Some of the big benefits are low cost of entry, freedom to work around your own schedule, and the ability to live wherever you want.

The first step is to find the right company.  Having been in the industry for over eight years I have seen it all.  I have found that it is important to find a company with a consumable product (something that is used up and needs to be reordered).   The right compensation plan is also critical.  And corporate leaders who have experience may be the most important.

I was in a company with a powerful product but the founders were in over their head and it failed.  I have been in companies with several different kinds of compensation plans and I know from experience what to look for in a marketing plan.

I was lucky enough after what I like to call “boot camp” in the industry to hear about Nerium International.  I joined when the company was about 8 months old.  I kicked all the tires and they were doing everything right.  Nerium’s Founders are Jeff Olson, an icon in the industry and Dennis Windsor, another veteran in the industry.  And even in that short time I could see they knew what they were doing.

It has proved to be the best decision of my life.  We just announced that in our first FULL year with just one product (Nerium AD anti-aging night cream) and in just the US we had $100 million in revenues.  With plans to expand globally and with a line of products ready to be launched the future is bright.

Joining Nerium gives a new Brand Partner the opportunity of a GROUND FLOOR business with a company that has already proven itself.  Nerium has already  broken many  records!  We are the first NEW company to hit the top 100 GLOBAL companies in the industry so quickly.  The average company on the list took over 12 years to be on that list.

The video below explains the power of Network marketing!  I suggest you check it out and learn how you, too, can start to build RESIDUAL income with the company that EVERYONE is watching :  The BIZ MODEL

We Are Still…All in This Together!

We Are Still…All in This Together! by Amy Lignor   December 7, 1941. Sunday morning was lovely on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. A typical Sunday, in fact, where people were moving calmly and in a relaxed “weekend-mode” stance at the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Fleet Headquarters. Just before the clocks struck 8:00 a.m., however, the country of Japan launched planes from six aircraft carriers in what would be considered the “first wave” of … [Read More its Good for You...]
