jeffbeckitaJeff Beck recently joined Brian Wilson in the studio as a guest on Wilson’s upcoming album on Capitol Records.  “Jeff is one of the most amazing guitarists I’ve ever worked with and his vibe is inspiring” says Wilson. “I feel like this is a cool and exciting addition to my touring having Jeff Beck co headline with me. We’ve got some new tunes we want to try out on a live crowd as well as doing some great music from our catalogues.”

Wilson is one of popular music’s most deeply revered figures, the creative force behind some of the most cherished recordings in rock history. Indeed, it is no exaggeration to call Brian Wilson one of the most influential composers of the last century. Wilson was barely out of his teens when he co created some of the most beloved records ever… nine consecutive gold albums that featured such classics as “Surfer Girl,” “In My Room,” “I Get Around,” “Don’t Worry Baby,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Help Me, Rhonda” and “California Girls”…just to name a handful of the more than two dozen Top 40 hits Brian co-wrote, arranged, produced and performed with The Beach Boys.

Known as one of the most influential lead guitarists in rock, Jeff Beck was ranked among the top 5 guitarists in Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” He has earned wide critical praise and received the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance six times and Best Pop Instrumental Performance once. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice; as a member of the Yardbirds (1992) and as a solo artist (2009).

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 9 at 10am at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box offices.   Tubman Proves: The Vote Counts…Right? by Amy Lignor   We won’t go back to the Gore fiasco (that time, remember? When your votes as citizens were counted and they actually ended up not counting at all?) Yet, here we go again: a popular vote that everyone is now yapping negatively about. Sorry…a requested popular vote that has become a travesty of justice and has people in so-called power upset with the outcome. As with … [Read More its Good for You...]

But it was time to break in the engine and do a shakedown on the boat, so we hit the road shooting a new season of episodes for Hook The Future. I couldn't wait to get on the water and loaded the boat with a little bit … [Read More its Good for You...]

Draft Begins: Deaf, Blind & Dumb with the Commissioner of the NFL by Amy Lignor   Ah…tradition! There are a great many traditions the NFL holds dear; each year’s draft is one of them. People get excited; newspapers and networks go crazy; fans root for the college souls that proved they would one day become the next Aikman or Starbuck or Montana (or…Manziel, but we’ll let that one pass).
