Better Way – The Health Revolution!

Better Way – The Health Revolution!

Health is the major issue in the U.S. and across the globe. Yes, the economy is hideous, there are no jobs, the election will soon be taking over with their ‘messages’ about how it will soon be all better, etc. But, in the end, what people are most concerned about is their health. Nowadays there are so many things that effect us – from the environment to bad foods – and we all need to find a way to join this Health Revolution and clean up our acts, just as we strive to clean up the environment.

BetterWayHealth.com is a company we’ve been speaking about for months, and there is a reason why. In fact, with each new article, people are learning to focus on the actions of becoming healthy and not the outcomes. They are changing the way they look at health and exercise, as well as seeing amazing products from Kleen water filtration systems to vitamins that have been proven to work! Proven, not only by science, but by one man who began BetterWayHealth.com; he defied convention and found out that HE could change the outcome for himself!

He invested in his own health, refusing to take the medical community’s word that it was over. And when he began investigating, he found out that they were, in fact, wrong. His life wasn’t over – he had a chance – and he took it. The amazing upside to all this is the fact that he shared his newfound knowledge with the world. There was no advertising or marketing gimmick – no social media caricature or silly t-shirts to pour your cash into. BetterWayHealth.com was and still is – simple. Use the products, read the in-depth news coverage and health information, make your own conclusions and live LONGER, healthier lives.

Now, more and more research is turning in the BetterWayHealth.com direction, because they are now getting the point that Better Way’s products are THE products that actually work. The so-called experts are now calling this “lifestyle medicine” – adding BetterWayHealth.com products and poignant advice into the simple changes in diet, exercise and stress management that we ALL can do in order to improve our lives. BetterWayHealth supplements and products are truly part of the manageable list of health and wellness action steps that we all can take on a daily basis to invest in our own health. Simple, right?

There are truly simple-but-significant changes that we can do to invest in ourselves; not to mention the Better Way line that can help with your health battles. And no, we’re not talking about some reality program where they starve you to death at a ‘fat farm’ for the world to see. We’re talking about the basics. That’s the Better Way Health Revolution!

You would think the first area we would discuss would be food; calorie intake, the right balanced diet, etc. But, oddly enough, it’s not. It’s your attitude – plain and simple. A positive attitude is literally the most difficult aspect of living well and living healthy. Why? Because the mind controls it all, and if you are upset, depressed, hurt, angry – investing in your health is far harder because you already don’t want to climb out of bed in the morning. So the Better Way living begins with a change in attitude. Healthy attitudes equal a healthier immune system and boosts overall health. Your body believes what your mind says! This is a simple fact that most people often forget – so think, focus on the positive and truly invigorating parts of life. That’s the Better Way Health Revolution!

Yes, Grandma was right and will forever be right. Eat your vegetables, people. Again, another simplistic thing to say but something that a majority of the country is not doing. Raw, steamed, stir-fried – a diet that is high in vegetables can reduce the risk of developing cancers. Something this easy can keep you out of the hospital, off a gurney and in the world with your family for a good long time. And if you’re one of those people who simply can’t stand the sight of vegetables, than eat like a kid – it’s more fun anyway. Use vegetables as “finger foods” like little carrot and celery sticks, cherry tomatoes, broccoli florets, grapes, berries – they’re still vegetables, and if it’s easier that way – go for it! It doesn’t matter…they all go into the same machine! That’s the Better Way Health Revolution!

A long time ago the healthy thing to do was eat three meals a day. Over time, research and studies have shown that to be really healthy – to help your body keep up that energy throughout the day – you should go with a “5-meal ideal.” It’s not only how much you eat, it’s when you eat that helps to always keep your metabolism and your energy levels steadily elevated, so you’ll have more all-day energy. You can maintain your focus the whole day through and avoid all the cravings that sometimes – well, most times – can lead us to those potato chips and candy bars that will hurt us monumentally in the end. That’s the Better Way Health Revolution!

Yes, exercise. No, I’m not talking about slamming yourself at the gym for five hours a day and trying to kill yourself. That’s fine for some, but most of us do not have the time, nor the energy for a strict workout schedule such as that. Do you need to do that for your health? Nope. Not even close. Daily exercise can be anything – walking, jogging, playing in the park with the kids – and daily exercise not only improves a little bit of everything, it also reduces the aging process. Think about that. By doing something you love and enjoy you can improve your eyesight, level out your blood pressure, improve muscle tissue and bone density (which is a huge need seeing as that osteoporosis and arthritis have become a larger and larger problem with each decade that goes by). You can also lower your cholesterol. And you may not believe this one BUT it’s true. Ten minutes of exercise a day makes a difference. Seriously, dance in your kitchen while making dinner, jump rope, play hopscotch, bike, hike – anything to get off that couch and away from your video games. That’s the Better Way Health Revolution!

Yup. Sleep. I know, there are many who are guilty of saying and thinking: “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” BUT, unfortunately, getting no sleep can bring you to that place a whole lot quicker than you’d expect. If you have trouble sleeping, there are relaxation techniques such as meditation and yoga that could help you calm down the mind enough to fall asleep. Darken the room, write down any worries and release those stressful thoughts so that you can get your mind free of them in order to go to sleep. That’s the Better Way Health Revolution!

Begin with small, ‘painless’ changes in your daily routine. Don’t overwhelm or worry yourself, just BEGIN – that’s what we all need to do in order to join the Better Way Health Revolution!

Chips DVD Review by Kam Williams Raunchy Adaptation of Classic TV Series Arrives on Home Video Whenever a classic television series is made into a movie, the buzz always seems to be about whether the screen version will be a creative variation on the theme or merely a campy, cornball, take-the-money-and-run ripoff trading in familiar formulas and shopworn cliches.
