Bam Brands Goes ‘Over the Edge!’

Bam Brands Goes ‘Over the Edge!’

A Not to Miss Moment at the Special Olympics, Missouri!

Have you ever desperately wanted to push someone off a roof? (LOL) Well…here is the event for you – AND it provides a chance for YOU to donate to a supremely fantastic organization!

It all began in the early 1960s, when Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver saw how completely unfairly people with intellectual disabilities were being treated. Many special needs children didn’t even have a safe place to play, which is why she decided to take action and began to change the world by offering a summer day camp in her own backyard. Her goal was to learn what these particular children could do in sports, and come to understand how their participation in activities could help them live better, more fruitful lives. This was the mission of the Special Olympics which became a global phenomenon over the decades – an organization that truly proves to everyone that it’s what you can do (not what you can’t) that truly matters!

Over the years, fundraisers for the Special Olympics have also expanded in size, frequency and – most of all – creativity! On Friday, October 4th , various participants will be rappelling 19 stories from the top of the Four Seasons Hotel at Lumiere Place in St. Louis to raise money for the Special Olympics cause. And members of a team we’ve spoken a great deal about over the past few months are going to be part of the fun!

The owner, as well as employees of Bam Brands,  will be rappelling off the building and flying through the air like Superman (without his cape and basic superpowers, of course) to raise funds for this ultimate organization that has helped children for decades!

YOU can get involved! Donate money to the Bam Brands team or JOIN the fun and go ‘Over the Edge’ with them!

In order to rappel on that special day, raise at least $1000 in donations and join Todd Beckman (President/CEO), Katie Corbin, Chris “Chappy” Chapman, Stephanie Struckhoff and more!
Be a fan of the thrills and chills while marveling at the skills, and help the Special Olympics in the process by making a donation.

Special Olympics, Missouri (S.O.M.O.) gives athletes so much more than just sports; they instill the CONFIDENCE to hold jobs, get better grades and earn respect. They provide an OPPORTUNITY for every individual to feel accepted and appreciated. Whether you coach, volunteer or donate, you can see REWARDS immediately. So EXPERIENCE the true spirit of sport today!
However you choose to give – to the plunge, your own rappel, a general donation, monthly donation – YOU will be providing skills that transcend sports and change lives.

The Best & Worst (So Far) of the 2016 NFL Season by Amy Lignor     Okay…we’re almost dead center, folks, so it’s time to sum up the best and silliest actions and reactions that the 2016 NFL season has provided fans thus far.   Analysts are always yapping, and most likely nothing they say will actually come true. Charity Begins at Home

Charity Begins at Home by Amy Lignor   Turning a blind eye is easy for some; preferred by others. But the fact is that the bad doesn’t become good – in any area – unless eyes are open wide to not only see what’s occurring, but also to gain the knowledge needed to stop the bad from getting even worse. Remarks are made about “other countries” and what they do wrong when it comes to the harming of animals for profit. However, in … [Read More its Good for You...]
