On Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 10:15 a.m., in the Main Library located at 1960 N. Ponce de Leon Blvd. St. Augustine, the Florida Writers-Ancient City Chapter will welcome award-winning author and speaker, Vic DiGenti.
Good writers understand that revising and rewriting is not only necessary, but the mark of a true writing professional. While the prospect of revising work you’ve spent weeks and months writing may seem daunting, there are useful strategies that make the process more efficient.
Award-winning author and FWA Regional Director Vic DiGenti will introduce a battle plan for attacking the revision process to help the new and veteran writer. Then you’ll have the opportunity to put your plan into action.
DiGenti is the author of three books with a feline protagonist: Windrusher, Windrusher and the Cave of Tho-hoth, and Windrusher and the Trail of Fire. In addition to being the regional director of the Florida Writers Association, he’s president of the Friends of the Library-Ponte Vedra Beach. Visit Vic at www.windrusher.com.
Book sales and signing to follow the program. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Main Library. The monthly meeting, offered free of charge by the FWA-Ancient City Chapter in partnership with the Friends of the Main Library, is open to writers of all genres, fiction and non-fiction.
