An Army of Moms Working From Home?

An Army of Moms Working From Home?

by Betsy Smith
When my oldest child was about two I “retired” from the corporate world.  It took some time to work through the emotional blow going from Treasury Bond Trader who by the way was a mom to JUST a mom.  As much as I valued my role as a mom it was still tough as other women gave me looks that loudly stated “You traitor”!

And the bigger transition was just in reconnecting with who I was unrelated to the roles I had.  It took some time.  As my kids grew older and I had more free time I longed to do something in the working world.   But what?  I had a big wish list.  I wanted something that fit into my role as mom.  I was pretty sure that reporting to a “boss” was not in my cards.  And I wanted and needed (especially after divorce) to make some pretty significant money.

When I found the relationship marketing business model it answered all of my wishes.  I spent about 8 years in the industry in two companies doing what I now call “boot camp”.  I made money AND had time freedom.  But neither company was really the answer.  I made money but had a hard time empowering others to do the same.  I got to the point where I doubted the industry.

Then along came Nerium International.  The irony is that it was a friend of mine who is a man who first told me about it.  I was a bit surprised because the product is Anti-Aging Skin Care.  Nerium AD.  There are a lot of men in this company, but what has been so much fun to see is the total empowerment of women.

The company has its act together, a powerful compensation plan, founders with experience building billion dollar companies, a product created by a biotech company and clinical trials that prove its breakthrough results and even a program where the company sends you FREE product!

We now, just 13 months in have an army of people, many women, many moms making REAL money.  Oh, we all get the benefit of looking better too!  But the amazing thing is that in just that short time we have over 100 people who have earned our “live better” bonus of $25k.  That is on top of the other generous compensation. We have a program to earn a FREE IPad.  We have a Lexus car bonus.  Now many are driving around in new cars.  Moms, single moms, and even some men.

In my view there are many reasons we have broken so many records in growth, sales, and more but one big one is that we have systems in place that make it SIMPLE for anyone to get going.  And watching so many have success has been the biggest kick for me.

There Are Superheroes Among Us

There Are Superheroes Among Us by Amy Lignor   This story truly proves that a superhero does not require a cape, tights, or the ability to fly. In a world where all headlines seem to be centered around who shot who, who is being put upon, who’s “getting away with it” – all the way to who is getting divorced and who may or may not be kneeling at NFL games – negative stories seem to be the only ones covered anymore by the media. … [Read More its Good for You...]

Vacation Time Has Turned “Spooky”

Vacation Time Has Turned “Spooky” by Amy Lignor   Myths and legends, both spooky and surreal, are becoming the subject of many books and newspaper articles lately. And the location of many, oddly enough, happen to be in the Southwest. It used to be that a nice white sandy beach was the one place we yearned to go on vacation to get away from it all. Now, however, people are searching for places to travel where legends still exist, and … [Read More its Good for You...]
