America Recycles Day on November 17

 Advanced Disposal Teams Up with St. Johns County to Celebrate America Recycles Day at Second Annual Document Shredding Event.

Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., an integrated environmental services company, in cooperation with St. Johns County, invite all businesses and residents within St. Johns County, St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach and Hastings, to celebrate America Recycles Day by showing their commitment to a cleaner and greener environment at the second annual document shredding and recycling event on Saturday,November 17, 2012.

From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at theAnastasiaSquareShopping Center, located on the corner of SR312 and A1A, businesses and residents can bring up to three boxes of confidential documents for immediate on-site shredding. In support of St. JohnsCounty’s effort to keep surrounding areas cleaner and greener, Advanced Disposal is providing this event to give residents and businesses an easy way to reduce the risk of identity theft and misuse of sensitive information, as well as help the environment by recycling these shredded documents.

Acceptable items for shredding and recycling include personal documents, business documents, white paper, colored paper, stapled documents, paper-clipped documents, file folders, and envelopes. Items not accepted for shredding and recycling include 3-ring binders and cardboard.
